A delegation from China will be finding out how nano-technologies are taking the sting out of medical injections when they pay a visit to Loughborough Innovation Centre this week.
The 23-strong group of political and business leaders from China’s Jiangsu province will be meeting experts at Nemaura Pharma, a company which uses micro and nano technologies to develop better systems for drug delivery. The company’s technologies include microneedle systems for painless drug delivery through the skin, and a non-invasive glucose monitoring system for diabetics.
